Real Estate Team Apparel: What Agents Actually Wear All Day
Real estate team apparel should be built for the agent's full day in the car, at showings and at open houses, not for the office group shot.
Put every agent in an embroidered polo with the brokerage mark on the left chest, then add one layer for cool showing mornings and one hat for afternoon open houses. Decorated orders run 7 to 10 business days from proof approval, there is no minimum, and we keep your files on record so the next hire matches the rest of the team.
What real estate team apparel has to survive
A seat belt, the sun, and a camera. Your agents spend more hours in the car than in the office, and the shirt ends up in more photos than anyone planned.
The car
A seat belt drags across the left chest all day. Heavy, stiff embroidery puckers under it. A moderate stitch count on a polo with some structure holds its shape.
The showing
A showing is a first impression that repeats four or five times a day. The shirt has to look the same at 4 p.m. as it did at 9 a.m.
The photo
Open house selfies, closing day photos with the keys, a team post on social. A small, sharp mark reads well in a phone photo. A big chest graphic reads like a billboard.
Quiet beats loud
The best real estate team apparel we see is quiet: one clean brokerage mark, one color, and a garment agents actually like. If it is not comfortable enough to wear daily, it lives in a drawer. That is the thinking behind our staff and team apparel programs: buy fewer pieces, and buy the ones that get worn.
Agents do not need more logo. They need a shirt that still looks sharp at the fourth showing of the day.
The core kit: a polo, a layer, a hat
Buy a polo for every agent first. Add one layer and one hat. Save tees for team events.
The polo
The workhorse. It goes to showings, listing appointments, the office and the closing table. Order one style for the whole team, in men's and women's cuts. Start with our polos for agents and office staff and pick a color that works with the brokerage mark.
For more polish than a catalog piece, look at the polos in our PILLAR line, cut for people who wear a polo all day.
Too many brokerages hand female agents a unisex shirt and wonder why nobody wears it. Our PILLAR women's polos fit like they were meant to be worn to a listing appointment.
The layer
Realtor team quarter zips or vests cover cool winter mornings and the cold office. One layer per agent is plenty, embroidered to match the polo.
The hat
Real estate team hats earn their spot at open houses, when an agent is standing in the driveway in afternoon sun. A structured cap with a small front logo looks deliberate.
The tee
Tees are for team events and volunteer days. They are not showing clothes, so order them when there is an event on the calendar.
Do
- Pick one polo style and color for the whole team.
- Offer men's and women's cuts.
- Match the layer and hat thread to the polo.
- Keep the brokerage mark small and on the left chest.
Skip
- Big chest prints on showing shirts.
- Three polo colors because nobody could agree.
- Tees as daily wear.
- Taglines and phone numbers in the embroidery.
Brokerage logo, team logo, or both
Both, in different places. The brokerage mark goes on the left chest. The team mark goes on the sleeve or the back yoke.
Placement that works
Two logos on one chest make both look smaller. The brokerage gets the left chest, where a buyer looks first. The team mark sits on the sleeve or the back yoke, where it shows in photos without crowding the front.
Agent names
Names on the right chest help at open houses, because buyers remember a name faster than a face. We add names with keyboard lettering at $12, and the proof shows every name before anything is stitched.
Keep the mark simple
Fine lines and tiny taglines turn into fuzz at left chest size. Send the full logo and we will tell you what holds up. If you want the technical reason, here is why tiny taglines fight the needle.
Check with your broker first
Before you lock in a layout, confirm with your designated broker how the brokerage name should appear on team branding. It takes one email and saves a redo.
Dressing for an Arizona showing season
Layer for the morning and dress for the afternoon. A winter showing day in Scottsdale or Phoenix can start cool and finish in full sun.
Cool mornings
The 8 a.m. showing can feel cold. A quarter zip or vest over the polo handles it. Vests suit agents who drive all day, because the arms stay free for the wheel and the lockbox. If that sounds like your team, read up on an embroidered vest for cold showing mornings.
Over at PILLAR we wrote up what to wear under a quarter zip. For agents, the answer is the team polo.
Warm afternoons
By 2 p.m. the layer is in the back seat. Agents climb in and out of a hot car, walk a backyard, then stand in a kitchen with the client. A performance knit breathes, dries fast and does not wrinkle across the back.
Hats for open houses
Open houses run in the afternoon. Give agents embroidered hats that match the polo. A 3D puff front logo reads well from across the street. Make the hat standard open house apparel.
What brokerage logo shirts cost to decorate
Embroidery is priced per piece by quantity, and the garment is quoted separately. Here is our published rate for standard embroidery up to 6,000 stitches.
| Quantity | Shirts | Hats and bags |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 8 | $10.75 | $13.25 |
| 9 to 23 | $8.50 | $10.75 |
| 24 to 47 | $7.25 | $8.50 |
| 48 to 71 | $6.00 | $7.50 |
| 72 and up | $5.25 | $6.25 |
Decoration only. The garment is quoted separately.
Add ons that matter for a team
A new logo carries a $35 setup, one time. Agent names in keyboard lettering are $12. A 3D puff logo on hats is $2.00 per item. Once the logo is set up, every reorder uses the same file.
A worked example
A 30 agent team ordering embroidered polos for real estate agents sits in the 24 to 47 tier, so the left chest embroidery is $7.25 per shirt for standard embroidery up to 6,000 stitches. The polo itself is quoted on top of that, based on the style you pick. Everything else, including stitch counts over 6,000 and full back pieces, is on the full price list.
New agents, reorders and timing
Plan the first order a couple of weeks out, and expect every reorder after that to be small and routine.
The first order
For logo embroidery on stock garments, decorated orders take 7 to 10 business days from proof approval. The clock starts at approval, so send logo files and sizes early. For a kickoff, count back from that date and treat it as a target.
The agent who joins in March
We keep your reorder files on record, so the agent who joins in March gets the same polo, thread color and placement as everyone else. There is no minimum, so one new agent is a normal order.
When the team wants its own garment
Some teams want a polo that is entirely theirs: their own fabric color, cut and woven neck label. That is fully custom work, built from the fabric up, and it runs about 45 days door to door. We confirm the timeline on the first call before anything is ordered.
Questions team leads ask
Can we put the brokerage and team logo on one shirt?
Yes. Put the brokerage mark on the left chest and the team mark on the sleeve or back yoke. Confirm with your designated broker how the brokerage name should appear before you approve the proof.
Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum, so a single polo for a new agent is a normal order.
How long does a team order take?
Decorated orders take 7 to 10 business days from proof approval. Fully custom garments built from the fabric up take about 45 days door to door.
Can you add agent names?
Yes. We add names with keyboard lettering at $12, and every name appears on the proof before production.
What should a real estate team order first?
An embroidered polo for every agent. Add a quarter zip or vest for cool mornings and a hat for open houses once the polo is set.
Do you ship outside Arizona?
Yes. We ship nationwide, so a brokerage with offices in several states can order on one proof.
