The December 2026 count back
For a Friday December 18 party, aim to approve your proof by Friday November 20. For Friday December 11, aim for November 13. These are targets with a week of cushion, on the decorated order clock.
December 18 is the popular date for a reason: Ugly Sweater Day falls on the third Friday of December, and Ugly Sweater Day 2026 lands on Friday December 18.

Designing a sweater people wear twice
Make the joke big and the logo modest. The best ugly sweater with a logo for employees reads as a party sweater from across the room and as a company sweater only up close.
A giant chest logo turns it into a uniform. A ridiculous snowman with a small logo on the sleeve or left chest gets worn to three more parties.
Put the joke on the front and keep the logo small. That is how a party sweater gets worn again in January.
Lean on texture: metallic thread on the lights, 3D puff on the snowflakes, a full chest design when the motif needs room. Avoid tiny text. A small punchline is a blur from across the room, in thread or ink. Shorten the joke.
Use art you own. Licensed characters and other companies' logos do not belong on your sweater. Your mascot, your office jokes and your product drawn as a reindeer are fair game, and funnier anyway.

Sizing and handing out office holiday party sweaters
Take sizes from the RSVP list, size up for a sweater worn over a shirt, and order a few extras for late RSVPs.
Put a size question on the invite itself. When the order ships, it comes packed by size and name for a table at the door. No minimums means a 12 person team is a normal order, and we ship nationwide.

Embroidery comes from our embroidery price list. Printed and knit sweaters are priced on the quote. Decoration is priced separately from the garment, and the quote confirms which column a sweater falls in. Here is the shirts column as published, for standard embroidery up to 6,000 stitches.
